Serbian clothing pattern in Prizren, late 19th and first half of the 20th century
Prizren is an old city. It has an old, big soul. It is like a well-written book, like a book in which there is a lot of wisdom and a lot of pictures. So you read wisdom and look at pictures... The pictures are colorful here: colorful roofs , colorful mosques, colorful neighborhoods...
So you walk through the city like through an exhibition where you don't know what to look at first. Because here, in Prizren, everything is like a colorful embroidery.
And which color to look at? From which master's work of art? Whose fresco, whose arabesque? Whose copper vessel, whose silver sword? And all that is painted with color. And written in small letters. Painted or forged.
