The attire of Serbian women in Đakovica was especially lavish. On the head was worn specific headgear made of scarves, strings of coins, and various ornaments. The clothing items included a long shirt decorated with embroidery on the chest, dimije with pachaluci, socks, and leather shoes.
The upper garments in the last quarter of the 19th century were long, anterija or jube, and in the first decades of the 20th century short, a vest and mintan. A mandatory part of the accessories was a silk belt, worn both with long and short upper garments.
